Why use drones in Agriculture?
Due to the massive efforts to modernise, the ever changing regulations/norms issued by the EU and continued research for the optimisation of agricultural land, the agricultural sector must strive to rationalise their production costs in order to improve it’s performance, maximising agricultural yields while reducing environmental impact.
Tibudrones firmly believes that drones are a valuable and strategic tool for achieving this goal.
ABLE TO MONITOR PLANTS HEALTH
By studying the images captured by the drone in flight (remote sensing), it may be possible to collect a lot of information. With the use of specific bands in the IR spectrum, it is possible to construct “maps of force” that indicate the health of the crop through indexes (NDVI or Vegetative Vigor) obtained from high resolution multispectral images captured by the RPAs.
By developing this information from our agronomists, we are able to provide basic information, developing farm management strategies that improve the quality and quantity of product in a context of resource sustainability.
